The most anticipated Hybrid car of year was finally revealed today at the Detroit Auto Show. For months Cadillac has teased the public with pics of the car that barely showed anything. All that did was build up even more anticipation to see the car in the flesh, and today here it is. The 2014 ELR! It has the classic style and luxury you except from Cadillac, but it also has pretty much taken the lead in the luxury hybrid market. The car will go about 35 miles on battery power, before the gasoline powered generator kicks in to give the car a total range of about 300 miles. This car is an important step in extending the brand to prospective buyers. The car will hit showrooms around early 2014. Bob Ferguson, Cadillac’s global Vice President said “It’s provocative. It’s technologically advanced. And it’s something that no other luxury player has right now.” I agree, picture all the amenities you get with Cadillac. Suede and leather trims, 20 inch wheels, class, integrity, and combine that without the gas guzzling machines we are used to and this is a hit. Check out the gallery.
