Jawbone has acquired BodyMedia for about $100 million. BodyMedia is a company based out of Pittsburgh that makes health-monitoring armbands that will fit well in Jawbone wearable fitness business. Jawbone has been on a purchasing spree, just a few months ago the company bought the data and digital-design companies Massive Health and Visere.
