According to WTSP, the girl was mixing household chemicals in an eight-once water bottle when the bottle started going crazy and a mini explosion occurred. The police arrived at the scene and escorted Wilmont away in handcuffs to a juvenile assessment center. Luckily, nobody was hurt in this freak accident. If there was ever a “science project gone bad,” this would be it in a nut shell. Her Principal stuck up for her by saying “honestly, I don’t think she meant to ever hurt anyone. She wanted to see what would happen when the chemicals mixed and was shocked by what it did.”
