After the controversial issue of the Rolling Stone issue with Tsarnaev on the cover, many became enraged, saying that the picture used glorified the bomber, portraying him in the light of a rock or superstar. Well Sergeant Sean Murphy a Boston native, was definitely one of them. After seeing the Rolling Stone issue he took it upon himself to release more rugged pictures that depicted the: “real Boston bomber, not someone fluffed and buffed for the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine.” After being suspended for putting the photos out and not following protocols, fellow colleagues decided to support the ex cop. The photos included a battered and bloody Tsarbeav, hiding in a corner after he was covered with a snipers “red dot” light aiming at his forehead. Murphey is suspended until further notice and through investigation has taken place. In his statement, Murphy said the capture played out like a television show, but he hopes his photos show it was “as real as it gets.” What do you think??
