A group of women employed at Walmart whom claim that their male colleagues were getting promoted faster than them as well as getting paid more were denied their suit. The lawsuit that was brought against the company for the amount of $150,000 did not come out in the favor of the 1.6 million women whom were thought to be represented world wide. The case had been thrown out in 2011 due to their not begin enough women, and the women were told by the judge that the case involved too many to be jammed into one. The women returned with smaller claim suits, yet the judge still saw the accusations as too “disparate and wide ranging to qualify as a class action suit”, with still little evidence. The ruling resulted in the favor of the Wal-Mart company. Releasing a statement:

“We’ve said all along that if someone believes they have been treated unfairly, they deserve to have their timely, individual claims heard in court,” the Bentonville, Ark.-based company said in a statement.”
