This guy is a man of many talents. Childish Gambino is not only a performer, but a writer for the show, 30 Rock as well as an actor in Community. He’s taking these skills, and extending them. The born in California, but raised in Georgia native will write, executive produce, and be the leading star in a new FX comedy. Hit the jump for details.

Gambino born as, Donald Glover will be play the leading role in what’s titled, Atlanta. Of course with a name like this one, and an artist such as Gambino, it’s going to have some focus on the city’s music scene.
Atlanta will be shown on the FX channel, which features other comedies such as, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and Louie.
I can’t wait to watch. I’m kind of excited to see how it all will come about with the, “Centipede” rapper having such a huge part in it’s creation. Good Luck!
