TMZ dropped a bomb today when they revealed that Lamar Odom’s drug problem was his addiction to crack cocaine. Odom went to rehab at the behest of his wife Khloe Kardashian but he refused to stay and is allegedly back on drugs. Well according to another source Odom’s problem revolves around other drugs. According to RadarOnline their exclusive sources say Odom is addicted to OxyContin and Ambien.
Whether he’s on those two drugs only or all three I’m not sure but clearly he has a problem with something. The Kardashians reportedly staged an intervention but it was unsuccessful. Odom allegedly returned to hardcore recreational drug use, it’s claimed, around the same time he was linked to two extramarital affairs.
“Lamar does not want to go to rehab because pre-season training camps are just around the corner,” the insider said. “He just doesn’t care about anyone or anything right now. He has had it with the Kardashians and just wants to be left alone. Everyone is very, very, worried about him.”
Lamar Odom’s father Joe is a heroin and cocaine addict. ‘I witnessed things that a 10-year-old definitely wasn’t supposed to see… It’s hard for me to speak up on it and get it through to Khloe because she grew up so different.’ Odom revealed during an episode of Khloe & Lamar.
If he is indeed falling into the same trap as his father hopefully he’s able to receive help that finally works.
So damn sad. He’s such a nice guy and seemed like the sane one (along with Bruce) in that family of egotistical narcissists.
