A disturbing editorial has hit the net and the image is clearly controversial to all except the Russian editor in chief Dasha Zhukova, of ‘Garage Magazine’. The editor decided it would be a smart idea to pose on top of a chair, sculpted into a half naked black woman, as a feature in her latest editorial.

The HuffingtonPost, got a hold of the article, through, Claire Sulmers, the editor of FashionBombDaily.com, to which she states is a:

“white dominance and superiority, articulated in a seemingly serene yet overtly degrading way.”

“The art and fashion industries are the few bastions of society where blatant racism and ignorance are given the greenlight in the name of creativity,” Sulmers writes.

The chair is said to be inspired by a British pop artist Allen Jones’ collection from 1969, coming in all shapes and races.
