It is being confirmed that French Montana and Chinx are officially out of police custody after being arrested last night. New York City is currently packed with fans, tourists, pro athletes and entertainers for the upcoming Super Bowl and the rappers were arrested last night right on 42nd street. Both spent the night in jail and were released this evening. No official word yet as to why they were detained but rumors are swirling that it may have something to do with the constant profiling of the Hip-Hop police division of the NYPD.
From the looks of things, whatever the charges were, they may or may not have been that serious considering French’s wide grin while being taken into the precinct. Check out the photo in the gallery above to see the photo.
