While most people felt Amir Khan wasn’t fit for a fight with Floyd Mayweather, Khan of course felt the opposite. In fact in an interview not only did he claim himself worthy, he said Mayweather cherry picks his opponents and implied he’s scared to fight him.

“Floyd is not the same fighter as he was three or four years ago. That’s why he picks slow fighters, because he doesn’t have the same movement as he used to.
“I have been working very hard in camp on a Plan A, Plan B and Plan C on how to beat him. I mean, don’t get me wrong, he is a great fighter, but he has dodged two of the quickest fighters in the business because he knows I can give him a headache,” Khan said, referring to himself and Manny Pacquiao.
Khan and Marcos Maidana were the two fighters in the running for Mayweather’s next fight on May 3 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Floyd even let his fans vote for his next opponent and reports came out that Khan won by a landslide.
Khan took to his Twitter account yesterday to unleash on Mayweather and his camp implying they’ve given him the runaround and disrespected him. He says the fight isn’t happening and wished Maidana good luck.
