Grammy award winning singer, Ms. Anita Baker is in some hot water now that a bench warrant has been issued out for her arrest….Read after the jump!
Baker is being accused of owing $15,351.41 to Ray Smith Painting and Decorating company that has done some work to her Groose Point Michigan home in 2011. She has failed to show up to a court hearing for this legal matter and now she is wanted by Detroit police. Daniel Gerow, the companies attorney says “that they are not trying to give her a hard time, they just want to collect the money for their client. He’s owed the money and that could end it all right there.”
She tweeted in shock as she watched the news break the story about her warrant.
