A year after Kevin Ware’s gruesome leg injury and the Louisville Cardinals’ magical run to win the NCAA tournament championship, the two are now parting ways.

Kevin Ware has decided to transfer. It’s not an entirely unexpected move, as Ware will likely look to transfer closer to home. The Georgia native is redshirting this season after injuring his right leg again back in December. Ware only played nine games this season before ending his campaign.
Louisville’s season ended on Friday against Kentucky in the Sweet 16.
