Curtis Granderson caught a fly ball in the right field corner, and as he was about to throw the ball back into the infield, a fan put his hand on Granderson’s back.  Well that ticked Curtis off as he turned around and confronted the Angels fan.

Grandy said in the postgame “He touched me, then I turned around and he’s like, ‘I didn’t mean to.’ I said, ‘Hey, just don’t touch me.’ So that was it. Say whatever you want to say, boo, cheer, clap, cheer for your team, cheer for the other team. But just don’t physically touch players.”

“Once you come onto the field of play, whether it’s reaching over or actually stepping onto the field of play, obviously, then the rule has been broken,” Granderson said. The Mets lost to the Angels, 5-4.
