Iggy Azalea is smashing sh*t right now! The Australian import has already achieved two major feats on the Billboard charts this year, tying with only Ashanti as the longest run by a female to hold the number one and two spots on the Hot 100, with her single “Fancy” being #1 and her feature on Ariana Grande’s “Problem” being #2. She also is behind only the Beatles among acts that have spent the most time at numbers 1 and 2 simultaneously with their first two Hot 100 entries.
And now a third accolade to add to her resume: Iggy’s Charli XCX-assisted single “Fancy” tops the Billboard Hot 100 for a sixth week, giving her the longest-leading number 1 by a female rapper, passing Lil Kim who previously held the record with five weeks at number 1 with “Lady Marmalade” in 2001. Congrats, girl!
