Sad news to report. The last surviving original member of iconic punk rock band “The Ramones”, Tommy Ramone died at age 62. The band who was inducted to the Rock Hall Of Fame back in 2002, lost its last orginal member at his home in Queens, NY on yesterday. Get details inside.

Tommy Ramone the last original member of the legendary rock band, who was the drummer for the band’s first albums, as well as writer who helped pen hits, “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” and “Blitzkrieg Bop”, died at 62 as a result to declining health caused by Cancer.

Tommy survived fellow original members such as lead singer Joey Ramone who died in 2001 of lymphoma, a drug overdose killed guitar player Dee Dee Ramone in 2002, and Johnny Ramone passed away in 2004 from prostate cancer. The iconic group who shaped the sound and path of music today, influenced fellow greats such as Nirvana and Greenday alike.
