The Indiana Pacers lost their star player when Paul George suffered a gruesome leg injury during Team USA’s scrimmage.  Their wing depth is significantly thinner and they’re reportedly looking at these two players to replace him, not that anyone really can…

According to Real GM:

Scouring for a wing player in the aftermath of Paul George’s leg injury, the Indiana Pacers have MarShon Brooks on a short list of free agent possibilities, league sources told RealGM.

Brooks played for the Sacramento Kings in the Las Vegas summer league last month, averaging 10.1 points and 53.1 percent field-goal shooting in seven games. After a disappointing stretch early in his career, Brooks has needed to re-prove himself as an effective NBA scorer whom the Brooklyn Nets acquired with the 25th pick in the 2011 NBA draft.

Also free agent Gary Forbes has interest from the Grizzlies and Pacers as he mulls China deal to attempt NBA midseason.

With the loss of Lance Stephenson in addition to George, the Pacers clearly aren’t going anywhere this season.
