Victor Cruz suffered a devastating season-ending injury on Sunday night during the Giants game against the Eagles.  In the endzone as he leaped and attempted to catch a touchdown pass from Eli Manning, Cruz’s leg appeared to twist; he fell to ground in agony, letting out blood curdling screams.  His teammate Antrel Rolle says he can’t get those screams out of his head.

Antrel Rolle said on WFAN that he watched the replay of Victor Cruz’s season-ending injury in Philadelphia “15-20 times” to see what could have possibly happened. And the ever-tough Giants safety still can’t get over the moment.

“Man, I just can’t get it out of my head the way he was just down there screaming, screaming to the top of his lungs and you didn’t know why,” Rolle said Tuesday. “I don’t know, man, that’s a hard pill to swallow.

“I’ve seen Victor run that play 20 times in practice, I see him catch it 20 times in practice. Some things are just freakish, and that’s just a freakish accident,” he added.

Rolle went on to say that the Giants need to play with Cruz on their mind on Sunday against the Cowboys.
