Jonathan Paul Koppenhaver aka War Machine is accused of brutally beating his ex-girlfriend, Christy Mack. On Friday during a preliminary hearing in the case, Koppenhaver was scolded by the judge for laughing as Mack testified.
Mack was asked if there was sexual violence and she responded “yes there was”. War Machine began to laugh after hearing her answer which the prosecutor pointed out. His lawyer, Brandon Sua said Koppenhaver wasn’t laughing but the judge said she saw him herself.
Sua later said that Koppenhaver wasn’t laughing he just had a reaction to what Mack said because it was untrue.
He’s facing a slew of charges for the incident including attempted murder.
