Who fights at a non-violence concert; these dudes! In case you’ve been under a rock – or just not into R&B that much – you’ve heard that August Alsina got into a little scuffle over the weekend. During the State of Emergency 2 series in St. Louis (an event in support of non-violence & honoring Mike Brown) Alsina and one of the promoters, known as Loose Cannon Slim, of said event were in disagreement on some things. The lack of eye-to-eye between the two lead to a Slim sending his bullies for the R&B crooner, only things backfired; he got jumped by five dudes. The promoter admits getting jumped, but says he walked away without a scratch. Sure, that’s what they all say.

Check out the promoter’s ‘they didn’t really do nothing’ spill after the jump.

Promoter Slim captioned the video:

Hahaha yall got me fucked up.. After all that not a scratch on me!! Plus I got right up finished the show, went to 2 afterparties while he stayed trapped in his dressing until the police escorted his ass out!!! Lmao that Nicca left with the janitors!! It’s sum mo shit that happen but u won’t get no news from me!! #Slimlikehimselfwaytoomuchtoindicthimself

While one story says the fight stemmed from DJs messing up on Alsina’s set, another claims that it’s due to Alsina hitting the stage before the Migos – who missed their flight, therefore pushing the “I Don’t Get Tired” singer up a notch on the bill. Please August, tell me you’re not one of those.
