Almost everyone knows the ongoing “the mid (strain of marijuana) still selling” joke in reference to Marshawn Lynch. A weed dispensary even named a weed strain after Lynch, calling it “beastmode”. But Marshawn Lynch doesn’t smoke weed according to his friend and legendary stoner Snoop Dogg.
TMZ Sports caught up with Snoop Dogg and brought up the Beastmode strain and Snoop made it very clear that Marshawn had NOTHING to do with it.
“My homeboy got a career to play,” Snoop says. “He’s still in the NFL. He’s got a commissioner to deal with.”
Snoop wanted to make sure his homie doesn’t get in any trouble especially since it seems like the league has a vendetta against Lynch with the numerous fines he’s been given for not speaking to the media and grabbing his crotch after touchdowns.
Snoop also spoke about the UCLA basketball team in the Sweet Sixteen and his excitement about going to football games with Diddy since both of their sons will be on the UCLA football team next season.
And though he made it clear Lynch doesn’t smoke, he solidified his throne as king of the stoners by lighting up a blunt on camera.
