Over the past week, adults got their chance to enjoy all things action-packed and fast as they flooded theaters to watch Furious 7. Now, it’s time for the little ones to enjoy a premiere. Disney’s Monkey Kingdom is scheduled to hit movie theaters April 17, but celebrity kids gathered at the Grove this past Sunday for an early showing. In attendance was Jhené Aiko and her gorgeous daughter Namiko. It was all smiles and monkey-play.

Jhené and Namiko (who’s father is singer, O’Ryan) were not the only parent-child duo who showed attended the premiere. Taye Diggs and his son, Walker were also spotted alongside Bow Wow and many more.

Monkey Kingdom is a documentary that follows a newborn monkey and its mother as they attempt to survive in the Temple Troop. The group lives in the ancient ruins of South Asia, and the competition among troop members is fierce. The newborn and its mother must cope with their new surroundings after being forced to move with the troop, and adjust to the strong hierarchy within that make daily living challenging.
