Rob Gronkowski may be known for his football skills and hard partying but the New England Patriots tight end also has a huge heart and did an amazing deed this past weekend. Gronkowski got together with the Buzz for Kids campaign and shaved his head to support children with cancer.
The Buzz Off for Kids with Cancer is the signature event of One Mission, a pediatric cancer foundation that does whatever it takes to get kids through cancer.
According to buzzforkids.org, “The One Mission Buzz Off is a fun and unforgettable event where people shave their heads in honor and support of kids with cancer; kids who don’t have the choice to lose their hair.”
On Sunday morning at Gillette Stadium, Rob and his brother Gordie Gronkowski Jr. shaved their heads to support kids with cancer.
Rob then took over as the role of the barber and began shaving other people’s heads for a haircut that I’m sure they’ll never forget.
