Since reuniting with the Diplomats earlier this year, Juelz Santana has been busy with his own projects from fashion to film. For the unfamiliar, Juelz has been featured in several films over the years. Although he starred in various indie films that you would only find on Trap Flix, Juelz felt inspired to take his developing film career more seriously. Find out what he had to say after the jump.

Juelz Santana chopped it up with B-Real for his latest installment of “The Smokebox.” As the Cypress Hill veteran took puffs from his joint, the Harlem rapper spoke about what he’s been doing recently. Since the Diplomats made their return in the Spring, Santana has been keeping himself busy with his own projects including his clothing line and managing new artists.

Juelz also said that he was considering taking his budding film career to the next level. “I was thinking of coming out here to L.A. to fuck with the movies,” said Santana. “I did a movie about two years ago with Meaghan Good. A lot of people said I should fuck with the acting more.”

His previous film, Video Girl, starred Meaghan Good as the ballerina-turned-video girl along with LisaRaye, Bun B, Haylie Duff, and Bobby V. Since I just found out about this movie now, I’m going to assume it wasn’t a box-office hit. He also starred in the Damon Dash-directed State Property 2 and, according to IMDB, he has his hands in another film called Fade Away. It doesn’t look like he’s giving up any time soon. However, fans of Santana’s music don’t have to worry yet. Juelz also said that he’ll be putting his music first.

“I felt like the music will be the forefront of everything. So I want to get back to what I was doing with the music before I decide to take on something else as far as acting.”

Will he really get serious about film… or was he just high? Watch the interview below.
