It looks like father time has claimed one of the greatest dunkers of all time.  Vince Carter looked well beyond his days of Vinsanity as he failed on a dunk attempt Tuesday night.

During the Memphis Grizzlies’ preseason game against the Houston Rockets, Carter attempted to throw down a slam with his right hand. However, the 6’6″ Grizzlies guard didn’t get high enough off the ground to dunk and ended up getting stuffed by the rim.

Just a week ago, Carter showed us that he still has hops. *photo in gallery above*

Let’s just hope it was a bad night.  Although we know it’s coming, I’m just not ready to see Vince Carter unable to get above the rim…
