Everyone always throws the allegation around about Love & Hip Hop being fake. Some of the stories do not seem realistic, while others seem to have a little truth behind them. Erica Mena had a lot to say about the show and the creators! Even threw a little bit of shade at Yandy Smith if you ask me.

Mena made these claims after the Love & Hip-Hop: New York cast was released. When asked if she would ever return to the show she said no because the stories are fake. So I’m assuming that means her segment of the show was fake too? Who knows. Mena says,

“All these made up story lines. Let’s be honest, a lot of people are going to be out of jobs soon. Where’s the reality?”

She went on to say,

“Like seriously, who are they fooling? You couldn’t pay me to lie to America the way they be lying to you all who watch and believe the fake bs. I’m not going backwards, never. But you all [are] going to see me. Constantly again.”

Mena also threw out there that Mona Scott, (L&HH Producer) plays favoritism with the cast on the show.
She said,

“The only person I feel like they respected throughout the whole cast and their livelihood and give consideration to is Yandy, and that’s why Yandy is looked at as this flawless person. But I think she’s worse than all of us in a sense … And yet her story lines always are [good] no matter how bad life is.”

A lot of people would actually agree with that statement as it always seems that Yandy and her family always come out on top no matter the circumstances.

Men says that she is looking forward to seeing Remy Ma on the new season of L&HH.

“I feel like she will be, if given the opportunity, Remy will be given the chance for people to understand why she’s so dope. I’ve been a fan of hers for years, and I became so cool with her during the time she was incarcerated.”
