Almost 20 years ago, back in 1996 Constance Carpenito of Stoneham Massachuessetts laid her hands on a million bucks when she hit the lottery for the first time. Now almost two decades later Carpenito seems to be reliving the past as she accepts her second $1 million check for hitting the lotto, again!

Constance Carpenito who played the lotto at the same place she did back in 1996 which was a Stop & Shop in Stoneham, had been playing a $20 instant game called $10,000,000 Diamond Millionaire every week before she hit. And when she least expected it, her consistency paid off.

Its mind blowing to hit the lottery one time, but hitting it twice for a prize that high is out of the ordinary. The massachusetss lottery spokesman told CNN that

“There’s no reason to believe that this is anything other than a coincidence,”

continuing …

“The Lottery does not know where the grand prize tickets are sent to… There are numerous policies and procedures in place with all of our games to ensure that the security and integrity of these games are not compromised at any level.”

Carpenito chose a one-time cash payment of $650,000, which will be $455,000 after taxes and according to CNN, she plans on

“using her winnings to make this Christmas an especially good one for her family,”
