North Atlanta police are saying that Dustin Ray Dixton killed his mother and step father on Thanksgiving day in their home. A spokesperson for the Cobb County Police Department said a call came in around 7 p.m. after neighbors reported hearing gunshots. Read more after the jump.

The victims are husband and wife, Michael Bradley DeLoach, 58, and Ellen Deloach, 60. There were also two other family members home during the shooting that were able to escape without injuries. Dustin Ray Dixon has been charged with double murder. He also has four counts of aggravated assault and four counts of possession of a firearm or knife.
