On July 1 (yeah, she’s a first of the month baby), Tamera Mowry-Housley gave birth to Ariah Talea Housley. Now that Ariah is six-months-old, Tamera sat down with Mini Magazine to talk the transition from mother of one to mother of two.

“It was a challenging three months, but once she turned four months old, he was fine as she started to take him in,” she said. “Aden would make her laugh and she recognized him. They’re cool and he loves to give her kisses now.”

“Alden’s first response [was] giving her a nickname. Her saw her in this little glass basket at the hospital and said, ‘Baby sisters. That’s Ry-ry.’ We thought that was the cutest nickname for her! When we brought her home, that’s when the jealousy began,” the 37-year-old actress told Mini, a parenting magazine, which features her on the cover of its holiday issue, and in a gorgeous photo shoot with Ariah.

Tamera posts to social media, a smiling Ariah who has had her first taste of solid food.

“I’m so happy my momma listened to @comiclonilove and @tamarbraxtonher,” she captioned the photo. “My momma finally fed me solid food. I loved trying peas and avocado. Doesn’t my smile say it all.”
