The hunt for El Chapo is over. He has finally been caught after being on the run. Chapo had a mile deep tunnel to help him escape a maximum security jail for the second time a few months ago. Celebrities such as The Game and 2 Chainz take to social media to respond to his capture.
Mexico’s president, Enrique Peña Nieto tweeted,
“I want to inform the Mexican people that Joaquín Guzmán Loera has been arrested.”
upon the capture of El Chapo. The Game and 2 Chainz, who each have a song dedicated to El Chapo took to social media to express their feelings towards the capture. The Game says,
“That moment when you’ve been caught but you already got your next escape plan figured out. #ElChapo.”
That was the caption under the picture of the handcuffed Chapo.
2 Chainz posted a picture of Chapo and captioned it “Papa” with a crying emoji. I guess someone’s not so happy.
