They say more money, more problems, which is why sometimes it pays to just stay silent about your blessings. Lottery winner, Craigory Burch won’t even get to enjoy the rest of his money due to a home invasion that left him dead.
20-Year old, Craigory Burch had won $434,272 in a jackpot Georgia lottery’s Fantasy 5. Three masked man ran into Burch’s home and demanded money and his wallet. Burch threw his pants to the robbers. Apparently they werent really satisfied with what he gave them and wound up shooting and killing him.
Jasmine Hendricks, Burch’s girlfriend, said that her boyfriend plead the men not to kill him. She released a statement saying,
“When they came in, he said, ‘don’t do it bro. Don’t do it in front of my kids. Please don’t do it in front of my kids and old lady. He said I’ll give you my bank card.”
Police have not yet found the three men. Hopefully they find them soon so they can be punished for this horrible crime.
