Russell Wilson had a deal with Nike that expired in 2015 and the majority of people thought he was going to eventually sign a new deal with Under Armour. Today Nike made sure they kept the young quarterback on their own roster as Russell himself announced a long term deal on twitter.

No word on what type of money is involved yet but I am sure that info will come soon. Russell can be a cash cow for the swoosh for years to come given his age and early success on the field. Have to wonder though long term how his career will go after the legion of boom is no more and more of the onus is on him.
