Something with the 6 these days. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg became the 6th richest person in the world on Thursday, when Facebook had an extremely high earnings report from the day. That report led him to make $6 Billion for just Thursday…hit the jump.

On Wednesday, Zuckerberg’s net worth was already at $41 Billion. Fast forward a day and it skyrocketed to $47 Billion, which got him right at the mark to enter the top 5 richest people in the world race.

Really we are the ones to thank…us meaning the 1.59 billion Facebook users that log on every day and send this guy straight to the bank. In addition to posting very strong fourth quarter results on Wednesday, Facebook’s ad sales also were up 57% over the previous year’s numbers in the last three months of 2015.

According to CNBC, Facebook’s shares ascended by more than 15% in just a day – much better than any other tech giant.

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos actually had himself a bad day. Amazon did not hit the mark on its fourth-quarter earnings and stocks descended quickly by more than 15%. But seriously, how can any day be a bad day when you’re worth $55.8 Billion? He is currently the world’s fourth richest person, sitting right above Zuckerberg…for now.
