To celebrate the 18th anniversary of the late, Big Pun, and his first Platinum album, “Capital Punishment,” the Reveal agency and Avant Garde have come together to organize a Big Pun tribute this weekend. The tribute will be a two day event taking place on April 22nd, and April 23rd. The people closest to Pun and attendees will pay homage through an evening of fashion, music and art onn the first night. April 22nd will boast a private event with a more intimate guest list reserved exclusively for members of the press, while Saturday’s event will be open to the public to come out and remember Big Pun.
Liza Rios, Big Pun’s wife, will be hosting the event in memory of his highly popular, Capital Punishment” album debut. Liza’s goal is to truly celebrate her late husband’s memory among his closest friends, family, and industry influencers. Liza has specifically chosen his 18th year anniversary, as the number 18 represents new beginnings, while April represents the exact month his album was originally released. There will be a number of merchandise sold throughout the evening through the partnership of Avant Garde and Bigpun.com.
