Rapper Lil Yachty got a chance to sit down with CNN where he spoke on politics and Bernie Sanders. Yachty says as of now, he plans on voting for Bernie. He went on to say rapper Lil B is the one who got him to see why Sanders is the perfect candidate for President.
He says,
“Right now, I’m rooting for Bernie Sanders. Not just because he was, you know, with the Civil Rights Movement, but just because of everything he stands for.”
He then started to speak on how he plans to be a influential artist that can express his self to his fans.
“A lot of my fans tell me all the time they don’t feel like their voice matters. You know, I think people are just following the masses and I don’t think they even really know what each side holds.”
Yachty tells his fans that they should vote because it is truly very important.
“It’s important that you vote. Everybody’s voice matters. If you’re not going to vote, at least take the time to do some homework on what’s going on.”
