Congrats to my boo Karrueche, who has continued to flourish since stepping out of Chris Brown’s shadow and following her passion! The former “girlfriend of a famous guy” was smart enough to capitalize on her buzz, and has just won her first daytime Emmy as a producer on the digital series she’s been a part of for just under two years, The Bay.
Though the show won last year in the same category (Outstanding Digital Daytime Drama Series,) Karrueche had not yet produced an episode, so she did not qualify for the award. This year that has changed, however, and she is now an Emmy award winner! Congrats!
