Johnny Manzielwas booked for misdemeanor assault in his domestic violence and was arraigned in court Thursday morning. He was released on $1500 bond and a judge issued two conditions.
One condition was that he can not have absolutely any contact with his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley.
“You can’t call her, you can’t text her, you can’t email her, send her any letters or go to where she’s at.”
Manziel was polite and quiet during the hearing and accepted the judge’s order.
The other condition was Johnny is not allowed to own or possess any firearms. Johnny said it wouldn’t be a problem because he doesn’t own any.
Manziel is accused of beating up Crowley, back in January. She filed a restraining order against him claiming she was in fear for her life. She also claimed Manziel ruptured her eardrum.
Manziel’s next court date is set for June 24th; he faces up to a year in jail if convicted.
