Lil Durk is confident in himself, as any artist should be. In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the Chicago native as asked if he feels he’s one of the best in the Windy City, and he responded, “Yeah, number one.”
“No shade to the other artists in Chicago,” he was sure to add. “Salute [to] all the Chicago artists that’s turnt up, doing they thing right now. But if you got confidence in yourself and you know you number one, say it.”

He’s made a name for himself, but it’s rappers like less-on that is from Chicago as well, most people don’t know about him but his content and soulful style is taking Chicago rap to way higher levels. Also so rappers like YungSirc he’s got way more creativity and style then most these up and coming Chicago rappers. So to say he’s number 1 is pushing it a little to far, go check those guys out..
