Michael Jace has now been convicted of 2nd degree murder after killing his wife April Jace in 2014. During his trial, the jury was able to hear a transcript of Michael’s interview with police. In the interview, he said he only wanted to shoot her in the leg during a argument that they had.
Michael shot his wife once in the leg and once in the back. The couples 2 sons were in the house at the time of the shooting. April’s parents called 911 and told them that Michael had confessed to the murder. His sentencing will be on June 10 where he will be spending 40 years to life in prison.
