The latest of the bankruptcy stories comes from rapper Memphis Bleek. He has now filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy. The Roc-a-Fella rappers total assets include his New Jersey home, a Chevy Impala, clothing, and wedding rings, which equal $274,000. His liabilities total up to $350,000. He says he only has $100 in cash due to his Chase business account being empty.
Bleeks earnings are $5,911.94 a month. $571 of that is royalties and $5,340.94 is from his business. However, his monthly expenses are up there. The total for the monthly expenses are $5,377, leaving him with $534.94 to his name after bills.
Bleek currently owes $335,000 on his New Jersey house, $24,000 on his Chevy Impala, $9,000 to the IRS, and $13,000 to Monmouth County Superior Court.
