Last night ESPN aired the highly anticipated 30 for 30 movie “Doc & Darryl” which covered the talent and tragedy of the careers of both Dwight Gooden and Darryl Strawberry. It was epic to watch as we were reminded just how good these guys were and how great their legacies could’ve been had they been able to stay away from drugs & alcohol. While most of the film was serious in matter, a funnier moment occurred when Darryl revealed that having sex in the clubhouse DURING games was somewhat normal for him.

Darryl actually revealed details about sex in the clubhouse before the film even aired. In an interview Thursday on SiriusXM’s “Morning Men” radio show to promote the premiere, Darryl dropped the gem about sex during games and even in between innings.
“When I was on the road, yeah probably. It’s a great possibility. … Yes, between innings. It worked out well just how crazy it was,” Strawberry told hosts Evan Cohen and Mike Babchik.
Strawberry went on to reveal that he would enlist the help of a clubhouse assistant to bring in a random woman from the crowd.
“It kind of worked out that way. You organize and point her out and tell the kid,” he said.
During those years, there was never a dull moment in the life of Darryl. Can’t say I’m mad at this part though.
