Police Chief Mike Chitwood says there was a note found near by that said

“Black Lives Matter movement and an “A. Sterling” (Alton Sterling) and “P. Castile” (Philando Castile).

At the bottom it read,

“Fuck the police.”

An audio police call said they did not see who set the car on fire. The caller said,

“No, I just heard a bam, a boom, like something slammed and then I went outside and saw the car burning,”

Officer Chitwood says,

“It’s hard to police when someone is so fanatical about a cause they know they’re going to die and they know they’re going to take out as many people as they can in the process,”

Twitter responded to this incident saying they do not believe a black person would do this.
