On Sunday, Colin Kaepernick played his first game as the starting quarterback this season. Unfortunately, Buffalo Bills fans reared their ugly heads at the San Francisco 49ers quarterback who is making major headlines for his refusal to stand for the National Anthem in protest of the racism and police brutality against black people.

America’s racism was on full display in Buffalo where people were selling t-shirts that featured the kneeling quarterback in the crosshairs of a rifle scope, while another shirt oh-so-cleverly declared him “Kaeperdick.”
Another shirt for sale was emblazoned with an image of Kaepernick taking a knee and declared, “While you’re down there.” Use your imagination with that one.
But tempers were not limited to mere boos. According to one report, a fan threw a beer at Kaepernick and was escorted out of the stadium. One tweet showed a Kaepernick pinata that too closely resembled a lynching. Other Bills fans set up a Kaepernick tackling dummy.
