Like Drake said, “I swear sports and music are so synonymous / Cause we wanna be them, and they wanna be us.”  Athletes can’t stop themselves from getting in the booth.  Sometimes it works out great like the talented Damian Lillard aka Dame D.O.L.L.A, and wellll sometimes it isn’t that great, like this track Le’Veon Bell just released.

The Steelers running back moonlights as a rapper and dropped a new track called “Rapping Athlete.”  Not to be harsh but, the lyrics could use some help.

Pittsburgh won’t face their division rival Cincinnati Bengals again until week 15, but Bell added more fuel to the fire by throwing a jab at them in the new song, with the lyrics:

“All these haters @ me …
You need to check my rap sheet …
You better take the backseat like you play in Cincinnati.”

There’s a lot of animosity between the two teams, but Bell has a specific reason to despise them as it was Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict who ended Bell’s season last year during a Week 8 matchup.

As far as the rivalry goes, the Steelers have won 6 out of the last 7 matchups.
