Once the flight landed, a passenger who was also an EMT performed CPR. Paramedics rushed her to UCLA Medical Center. She was placed in intensive care until she passed. Her family says she was in “stable condition” but was not responsive after the emergency.

Fisher was on a tour for her new book “The Princess Diarist.” In the book she wrote about having an affair with co-star Harrison Ford while shooting the original ‘Star Wars’ movies. Fisher was notorious for her role as Princess Leia , “The Blues Brothers,” “When Harry Met Sally,” “Postcards from the Edge” and more!

Fisher suffered from substance abuse throughout her life. Back in 2013, she was hospitalized for complications from bipolar disorder. She leaves behind her mother, Debbie Reynolds, daughter, Billie Lourde, brother, Todd Fisher, and sisters Tricia and Joely Fisher.

Rest in Peace Carrie Fisher!
