Most of the news involving Shaq recently hasn’t been the greatest because it was centered on his beef with JaVale McGee and Kevin Durant. Before things really got out of hand, the issue seemed to be squashed and now we can get back to seeing the better, brighter side of Shaq that does things like this.

Five year old, Syari Sanders, returned home this week after being in the hospital since January 17th. It was on that unfortunate day that Syari and six year old Logan Braatz were walking to the bus stop when they were suddenly attacked by two dogs. Sadly, Logan died as a result of his injuries. The owner of the dogs was arrested and has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct.

Shaq caught wind of everything that happened and wanted to do anything he could to help. He met Syari and her family at an Atlanta furniture store and picked up the tab for new items. The family said Shaq has been in constant contact with them ever since shortly after the attack.

Salute to Shaq for doing a nice gesture like this and showing love to a family who is going through it. God bless Logan and his family as well.
