Axe Drops T.I. from Ad Campaign After News of His Sentence Was Announced
Damn T.I….the drama is starting already. The rapper was featured in their ad campaign and now has been dropped by the company, according to TMZ. About a month ago the folks at Axe expressed concern over T.I.’s legal troubles, stating that they were “troubled” by his recent arrest for drug possession and were considering seperating from him. Now thats it’s been announced that Tip will serve an additional 11 months for the charges, they’ve AXED T.I. from all ads and promotional services.
T.I. Speaks Out About 11 Month Sentence
As we reported, rapper T.I. was recently sentenced to another 11 months in prison after violating his probation on drug charges (smh…people don’t learn!). Regarding this sentence, T.I. said
“I want drugs out of my life. If I can get the treatment and counseling I need… I can beat this. I need help. For me, my mother, my kids, I need the court to give me mercy.”
