J. Cole’s ‘Forest Hills Drive’ Homecoming Concert Will Air On HBO

J. Cole’s Forest Hills Drive tour ended in August in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina, so of course he had to go out with a bang! The homecoming concert was sold out, and featured appearances from Jay Z and Drake, as well as the tour’s supporting acts Big Sean, YG, Jeremih and Cole’s Dreamville artists. Now, the show will come to HBO, as the network has announced J. Cole Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming Concert to debut on January 9 at 10 p.m. EST. It will be a 90-minute broadcast that will not only include the full show, but a look backstage as well, plus commentary from Cole and his friends and family. It will live on HBO NOW and HBO GO following its premiere. Can’t wait to tune in!


Drake Named Spotify’s Most Streamed Artist Of 2015

It’s almost like Drake just can’t loose. Today, the 6 God himself was named Spotify’s most streamed artist of 2015. With two projects released this year, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and What A Time To Be Alive, Drake racked up over 1.8 billion streams and 46 million listeners. To compliment Drizzy, Spotify’s most streamed female artist this year was everyone’s favorite bad gal, Rihanna. Rihanna is ending 2015 with over 1 billion streams and 57 million listeners. The Weeknd, Wiz Khalifa, Nicki Minaj & Fetty Wap Top Pandora’s List Of Most “Thumbed-Up” Songs For 2015

2015 is on it’s way out the door, however before we ring in the New Year, Pandora has released its list of the 100 most “thumbed-up” songs of the year. Earning top slots are artists like R&B sensation The Weeknd, who managed to land two spots in the Top 10 with his hits, “The Hills” and “Earned It.” The Weeknd is joined by fellow artists Wiz Khalifa, Nicki Minaj, Fetty Wap, Trey Songz, Rihanna and more. According to Lars Murray, SVP of Pandora Music Makers Group, “Listeners flock to Pandora to hear their favorite music,” he continued, “The Thumb Hundred is unique in radio. It isn’t a list of what Pandora told people to listen to, it’s a true reflection of what more than 78 million monthly listeners told us their top songs for the year are, through every single thumb up.” Hit the jump to check out the TOP 20.
