Just listening to these words make the heart heavy. The world took a tremendous loss when Dr. Maya Angelou passed away and many have spoken out. The 911 call has been released and it would seem that Dr. Angelou did not want to be resuscitated once she had passed. The caller and the 911 operator spoke on making attempts, because there was no, “Do Not Resuscitate” order on site. All that could have been done was attempted. Check out the call down bottom.
Bobby V Is Ready To Throw In The R&B Towel – Calls 2014 R&B A,”Weird Place”
There is nothing like an R&B track [from the 90s] to bring those old feelings back. The Jagged Edge, Xscape, Shai, etc., just made you zone out. Things have changed and R&B artists such as Bobby V are beginning to notice. He’s calling the R&B game a, “weird place.” One that’s turned predominatly hip-hop. Can’t say that I disagree. Since Drake came out (lol) singers have found that they need to be able to rap and sing on the same damn track.
