Be On The Lookout For Season Two Of ‘Being Mary Jane’
Mary Jane Paul is signing back on. Mara Brock Akil, creator of Being Mary Jane has dropped a hit series. The weekly television show that aired its finale this past Monday, began as a mini movie, but pulled in many viewers. With numbers in the three million range, it’s no wonder BET decided to bring the show back for a season 2! No news as to when the next season will begin, but believe you me, my ears are to the streets. Be on the lookout.
Asher Roth – RetroHash [Release Date]
Asher Roth has come a long way since his loving college days. He’s worked on many o’ projects and last year he announced the upcoming project, RetroHash. “RetroHash, as a whole, is a record of renewal and self-discovery,” Roth mentions to Billboard. He’s been quiet for a while, but similarly to his changed habits of drinking, he says with this LP was taken in stride and moderation. “I’m still out drinking beer. I still like to partake in my recreational marijuana. It’s one of those things where I want to operate at a high level. My whole thing with RetroHash is progress,” says the “Treat Me Like Fire” artist. “…every day, topping what I did yesterday…Sometimes you gotta eat Chick-Fil-A at 3:00 in the morning, but it’s all about moderation.” Makes sense!
