Kicks: Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG – Release Info
Yo they are back! You knew that they couldn’t be gone forever and never release again. Today we caught a preview of what they will most likely look like from Hiroshi Fujiwara, he gives us a view of the upcoming “OG” version that will hit the shelves soon, more than likely at a limited selection. This time their will be a “Nike Air” on the tongue. These will have a deeper leather quality more like the “Black Toe” that was released earlier. These are most definitely going to cause some damage so make sure that you make your way to stores when these drop. Kicks: Reebok Gives Multiple Models The “Year Of The Snake” Makeover
Reebok has given multiple shoe models the “Year of the Snake” treatment. The Reebok Answer 1, Reebok Shaqnosis, Reebok Question, and the Reebok Kamikaze II all look like they are going to be part of the YOTS pack. I wonder how many more styles could be added on. All models feature a purple and green iridescent material along black leather. I’m really diggin’ this effect for the kicks. Keep it coming Reebok! Kicks: SneakerCon July 2013 FULL Recap… 20+ PICS!
SneakerCon NYC went down this Saturday (July 13th) in the LES at Basketball City. The newly renovated building holds about 2600 people and let me tell you, it was packed! When I got there the line was about 350 people deep, props to the people who waited on that! Yikes! Inside I was greeted with a sea of vendors and collectors showing off their goods. The middle of the huge room was turned into a “camp grounds” where buyers/sellers stood claim over a small area and set up shop on the floor. Mutombo was there courtesy of Adidas, although the line to meet him was too long for me, I was taking a sneak pic of him once everyone was gone when he caught me, looked up, and gave me his signature “No No No” complete with finger wave and all (pic in gallery). Now there was one HUGE downfall of this event, there was hardly any ac! Looked like everyone just got done working out, not cool. It’s also crazy to see the transition of these events. As someone who has been attending various ones since 2008, I can say they have changed so much. Overall it’s always a good time though, especially at Sneakercon.
